Review of Quality Inn The Willows Wyoming

I stayed at this hotel recently for two nights and I must say that I was happy overall with the experience.  The Quality Inn The Willows has 50 rooms and is set on some nice grounds with tropical gardens.  It is located about 2 kms north of Gosford on the Pacific Highway with the railway line to the rear of the property although I didn't hear any noise in the room.

It's not a new hotel but it has been maintained fairly well but I thought the place looked like it needed a good sweep and wash down outside but the rooms were clean.   My room was very large, probably too big for just me, but was comfortable.

I only had one dinner and one breakfast in the dining room but found both meals very good quality.  If there is a coach tour booked in for the night then ask for a quiet room away from them.  The bathroom in my room had been updated in the last year and looked quite modern.  If you have problems with mobility then ask for a room without a step in spa as the shower is in the spa.

I had an executive room with king bed on the first floor and it had a very high ceiling and a large skylight.  It was nice to wake up in the morning with some  natural light coming into the room without sacrificing privacy.  The TV only had a few channels but that may have more to do with the area.  There is plenty of parking on site.  There was supposed to be a pool but I didn't see it and it was a bit cold to swim anyway.

The location is opposite  a shopping centre and is near a petrol station and the local pub which serves a nice dinner and snack meals.  On the whole I would recommend the Quality Inn The Willows for business travellers or people staying for a night or two.
